Actress Bea Alonzo has recently filed three separate cyber libel cases against showbiz columnists Cristy Fermin, Ogie Diaz, and their co-hosts in their respective online programs. The complaints were lodged at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office. Additionally, Bea Alonzo also filed a complaint against an individual who pretended to be close to her. This legal action was taken in response to alleged online libelous statements made against her.

Aside from Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz, actress Bea Alonzo has also filed cyber libel cases against the co-hosts of Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz in their respective online programs. The legal complaints were lodged at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office. Additionally, Bea Alonzo has filed a complaint against an individual who pretended to be close to her.

In the interim, prior to Cristy's remarks, Ogie Diaz issued a concise statement on his Instagram Stories yesterday, May 2.In a segment of Ogie's post (as published): "I extend my apologies to all journalists contacting for balanced reporting.I comprehend if you are under pressure due to your news desk or editors.""We will acknowledge and provide a response in a timely manner."Ogie also made remarks that appeared to be linked to the topics he discussed regarding Bea on his online program.Although Ogie did not explicitly mention any names, it is more probable that he is alluding to his coverage of Bea's separation from her former fiancé Dominic Roque.

Here is the official statement of Bea Alonzo's lawyer, Atty. Jose Manolo Garcia, regarding the cyber libel complaints filed by his client against Cristy Fermin, Ogie Alcasid, and others:

"The three separate criminal cases for cyber libel filed today against the named respondents are clear and very strong messages from our client, Ms. Bea Alonzo.

"She has endured all the defamatory and malicious statements against her character by these individuals in the past months or even years in silence, with dignity and grace.

"But there is always a limit and now is the time for definitive legal action."
